![]() Set RT = CreateObject("Realterm.RealtermIntf"). My Excel code was based on the example provided by Realterm, Can anyone provide an excel vba example that shows how to setup event listener in excel vba? I tried the code provided in the second post in this thread, it did not work for me, I got "Compile error, user-defined type not defined" for line So I would need to setup Realterm to "fire" a trigger to Excel once it get 7byte data, so Excel can update the plot in real time. Now, in slow mode, one measurement for every 6 second, we need Excel to plot real time graph. I am able to use realterm (Ver 3.0.0.33) to capture the measurement in a file, also I am able to use Excel VBA to send a command through Realterm to micro controller to start measure, and after Realterm complete measurement data capture, Excel can plot measurement. each measurement has fixed 7 bytes, i.e., 2byte ADC reading (uint16_t), 4 byte time stamp (uint32_t) (no need to let Realterm provide the time stamp) and 1 byte for termination (0xD, ie., CR). I have a firmware with micro controller, it will send out one measurement through UART every 6 second in slow mode, or send out one measurement every 1ms in fast mode. I need help similar to what Stephen Wicki has asked.
